247 poems with the Quantum Poet
Poet and performer Dean Fraser will be heading to Halesowen Library this month with his mix of poetry and healing.
Dean sees his mission in life to spread some much-needed laughter and love in this world. With a focus on identifying and developing human potential Dean wants everyone to see the opportunities before them and has a holistic approach to his poetry.
With 247 poems to choose from, every show is different and develops depending on the audience.
Dean said:
“The Quantum Poet reflects my holistic approach to doing what I do poetically. I'm never going to just stand there quoting my poems; my events are immersive experiences for my audiences and if I've done my job well, they leave feeling better about life than when they arrived!”
Councillor Ian Bevan, cabinet member responsible for libraries, said:
“Our libraries offer a host of reading groups, poetry and creative writing groups as well as author events and a wealth of activities for children.
“The Quantum Poet is the latest of these offerings, and with 247 poems to choose from it’s guaranteed to be one of a kind.”
Stephanie Rhoden, Dudley partnership manager at GLL, said:
“We’re really expanding our offer at the moment. With a reader in residence at Brierley Hill Library, Dean performing at Halesowen Library and a wealth of Easter holiday activities planned there’s something for everyone with Dudley libraries.”
The free event is on Tuesday 19 March from 2-3pm at Halesowen Library. For more information or to book call 01384 812980
