25p book sale at Stourbridge Library

Stourbridge Library will be hosting a two-week book sale over the Easter holidays, with all titles available for just 25p.

The book sale will run from Saturday March 23 to Sunday April 7 at the venue in the Crown Centre

A wide range of books will be on sale, from children's classics and romance tales to whodunits and westerns. There's something for all tastes, including audiobooks and large print.

All proceeds will be invested back into the service.

Councillor Ian Bevan, cabinet member responsible for libraries, said:

“Our libraries are always getting new stock in to keep up with customer tastes and demands, which means we sometimes need to retire some of our older stock to make way for the new.

“This is the perfect opportunity to snap up a quality book at an excellent price while helping to invest in the library service.”

Stephanie Rhoden, Dudley partnership manager at GLL, said:

“We update our stock all the time.

“People can see the new books we get in each month on the library website as well as on the popular Library App.

“This means we can sell off our older stock to help invest back into new titles for our borrowers.”
