50 years of spectacular fireworks at Himley Hall and Park
People are invited to join a golden celebration as the iconic Himley Fireworks marks its 50th anniversary on Saturday 7 November.
Sponsored by Custom Technology Solutions Ltd, the event will celebrate five decades of the special family event, with a spectacular 30-minute fireworks display choreographed to a soundtrack of favourite songs.
The largest local authority-run fireworks event in the UK, it attracts thousands of visitors each year and has become a much-loved tradition for families across the Black Country and beyond.
People can enjoy entertainment, including BBC Radio WM presenter Ed James, a Word of Mouth DJ set and live performances. There will be a giant funfair, night market and a wide range of food and drink stalls.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the action on a large 60-square-metre screen, while those looking to make the evening extra special can book tickets for the premium viewing area, which includes a silent disco and bars.
A limited number of Hall Access tickets will also be available, giving guests access to a choice of elegant rooms and food options inside Himley Hall.
To ensure the event is accessible for everyone, a free sensory room hosted by SENstation will be available for children and young people who need a quiet space during the evening. Pre-booking is advised.
Convenient shuttle buses operated by Diamond and National Express will run from locations across the borough for just £1 each way.

“This milestone anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the event's incredible history while looking forward to another spectacular display that will light up the skies.

Tickets are on sale now and visitors are encouraged to book early, particularly for premium viewing, Hall Access and sensory room places, which are limited and expected to be in high demand.
