Can’t come to us? We’ll come to you!
Dudley Borough Halls may currently be closed – but council bosses will instead be bringing live entertainment to living rooms with two special shows next week.
Children’s TV favourite Basil Brush will be hosting a Retro Quiz live via Zoom from 8pm on Thursday June 25. Tickets are £5 per family if booked before 5pm tomorrow (Friday) or £7 thereafter.
And magician Magical Bones, who wowed judges recently on Britain’s Got Talent, is performing six interactive live one-hour shows with a number of special guests on Zoom. They will take place on Friday June 26 and Saturday June 27 at 6pm, 7.15pm and 8.30pm. Tickets are £14 per family if booked before Monday (June 22), or £19.50 thereafter.
Alex Jackson, booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said:
“With Dudley Town Hall, Stourbridge Town Hall and Halesowen Cornbow Hall currently closed, we have been looking at innovative ways we can still provide entertainment for residents in the borough.
“Putting online shows on is a first for the council, and if they prove popular we will look at doing more.”
Tickets for the shows can be booked at www.boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the box office on (01384) 812812.
