Change the way you age
People who are middle aged and older who live in Dudley borough are being invited to attend free online ageing well events from Dudley Council’s public health team.
The ‘change the way you age’ sessions will run on zoom on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 November and last one hour.
During the sessions, people will be invited to explore choices that can help them to make early decisions and live their finest life in older years.
Subjects covered will include physical fitness, emotional and financial wellbeing, carers support and future decisions.
Councillor Nicolas Barlow, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said:
Ageing is a fact of life, but we can shape the way we age through making healthier lifestyle choices, such as maintaining physical fitness and eating well.
We are working with partners to run these sessions on how to stay healthy as we get older, we will also look at planning ahead and how to discuss wishes for the future with loved ones.
