Christmas fun at family hubs

Families across Dudley borough can drop in at their local family hub for Christmas fun this month.

The Dudley Council-run hubs are located in Brierley Hill, Dudley, Coseley, Lye and Stourbridge.

At the family hub in Dudley, children should dress for mess to take part in a Christmas sensory play session on Tuesday December 5 from 10am to noon and a bauble craft session on Tuesday December 12, also from 10am to noon.

Both sessions will be followed by Brilliant Babies from 2 to 4pm. No booking is required.

At the hub in Brierley Hill there will be Christmas crafts on Wednesday December 13 from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 2.30 to 4.30pm. Booking is essential. Call 01384 813322 to book your place.

There will be more Christmas crafts at the hub in Coseley on Thursday December 14 from 2 to 4pm and on Friday December 22 from 10am to noon and at the hub in Stourbridge on Tuesday December 12 from 9.30am to 12.30pm. No booking is required.

The hub in Lye will host Christmas crafts on Tuesday December 12 from 10am to noon.

Activities will also be held at Halesowen Town Hall, including Christmas decorations on Thursday December 7 from 10am to noon, Christmas wreaths and more on Thursday December 14 from 10am to noon and a Christmas party on Thursday December 21 from 10am to noon. No booking is required.

Our family hubs have been up and running for a few months now and support our ambition for a Child Friendly borough. Each hub provides a range of services for families including parenting groups, baby clinics, pre-natal and family support work.

“With the Christmas season upon us, it’s wonderful to see some lovely sessions lined up to bring our community of families together.
