The booking system will continue to operate as usual for the Household Waste Recycling Centre. The site will have normal opening hours apart from 25 and 26 December and 1 January, when it will be closed. Pop ups tips will run at Northway on 14 December and Lister Road on 11 January.
Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for highways and environmental services, said:
“We’re asking people to make sure they know any revised collection dates over the next few weeks and to put waste out early as collection times could differ.
“As always we are reminding residents to recycle, reuse or donate wherever possible to help to reduce waste over Christmas and New Year.”
Full details can also be found on the ‘bins and recycling’ pages of the council website.
