Cost of living support
Advice and information to support people struggling with the rising costs of day-to-day life can be found on the council’s website.
People can go to www.dudley.gov.uk and search ‘cost of living’ for help.
There they will find lots of information on what to do if they need help with household costs, everyday essentials such as food, clothes and medicines, child related costs or are struggling to pay debts.
There’s also advice on budgeting and support for struggling businesses.
Councillor Ian Bevan, cabinet member for public health, said:
We are all facing a cost of living crisis and we know this is a real concern for our residents, many of whom may be in need of support for the very first time.
This is why we wanted to pull together comprehensive information on our website that can help people in a variety of circumstances.
For anyone who does not have access to the website, they can contact 0300 555 2345 for help and guidance.
