DGOH Christmas toy appeal

Jewson Partnership Solutions are the main provider for the housing maintenance team in supplying general and specialist building materials used to support and deliver housing service repairs and improvement programmes, this partnership has been in place since 2013.

JPS in conjunction with the in-house housing maintenance team and their dedicated suppliers, undertook a toy appeal to support children across Dudley via the Dudley Group NHS Charity.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, the toy appeal surpassed its original £1,000 worth of toys target, achieving an impressive £1,500 worth of toys and gifts.

The donated toys and gifts will be distributed through the Dudley Group NHS Charity across the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trusts paediatric services to bring comfort, joy, and festive cheer to children who are accessing their services in the festive period.

The toys were presented to Nithee Patel, Head of Fundraising Dudley Group NHS Charity, with Councillor Peter Lee the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Ian Bevan, Cabinet Member, Housing & Homelessness, colleagues from both Dudley Council’s Housing Maintenance Contract Management Team and Jewson Partnership Solutions, Judy Ashcroft, Procurement for Housing and Lewis Ashford, Methven all in attendance.

Councillor Ian Bevan, Cabinet Member Housing & Homelessness said “I was really impressed by the generosity of the Jewson community and council colleagues working together and making such amazing contributions to this great cause.”

JPS Branch manager, Stuart Bell said “We are extremely proud of the strength of our partnership with Dudley Council, and we are grateful for the outstanding support shown by everyone involved. This appeal demonstrates what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose.”

Contributors included JPS team, Dudley Council’s housing maintenance contract management team, Jewson Partnership Solutions branch members and their suppliers and partners who contributed, these included MAXAM, Crossfold Electrical Wholesalers, Aldridge Security Limited, Methven UK Limited, Hippo by Tembe, Premdor, Procurement for Housing and Verona.
