Discover support for businesses in Dudley at summer roadshow

The Dudley Borough Business Support Roadshow will break down the various forms of funding opportunities and advice on offer to Dudley businesses in a simple and easily understandable way.

The roadshow has been organised by Dudley Council in partnership with Business Growth West Midlands, the region’s business support service co-ordinated by the West Midlands Combined Authority.

Advisers from the Dudley arm of Business Growth West Midlands will be available at the roadshow to speak to business leaders and entrepreneurs who are interested in receiving support.

The event will also include a panel discussion with businesspeople from Dudley borough who have made use of the available programmes. They will share their experiences and insights with a Q&A session following their conversation.

A number of speakers will also address the roadshow, with more details to be announced between now and June.

Helen Martin, director of regeneration and enterprise at Dudley Council, said:

“We’ve worked closely with Business Growth West Midlands to plan our biggest business event yet – an informative roadshow that is tailored precisely to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses and start-ups in Dudley borough.

“The roadshow is all about making it easier for our local firms to access the support they need to grow and realise their potential. There are so many initiatives out there for businesses in our borough and we want to clarify how these programmes work and how to make use of them.

“We’re very excited about this event and we’re looking forward to welcoming as many business leaders and entrepreneurs from the borough as possible to connect with our fantastic growth advisers.”

Tickets are now available for the roadshow, which will take place at the Village Hotel in Dudley on Thursday 6 June from 9.30am to 2pm.
