Dudley celebrates Black Country Day
People from across Dudley borough are marking Black Country Day (14 July), with the Black Country Flag flying proudly over Dudley Council House.
Throughout July, events and activities are taking place for the Black Country Festival, which is now in its eleventh year.
This Saturday, there will be a Family Fun Day at King George V Park in Wordsley and a Multicultural Day at Somers Square in Halesowen.
Councillor Pete Lee, the Mayor of Dudley, said:
“I’m delighted to see the Black Country Flag flying over the council house today, as we celebrate Black Country Day.
“There have been tons of fantastic events and activities across the Black Country these past two weeks and there are lots more coming up for people to enjoy. “
