Dudley Council releases waste collection dates for Christmas period
Residents are being reminded that they could see changes to waste and recycling collections over the Christmas and New Year period in Dudley borough.
Some collections dates will move forward or back, and people are asked to check their dates on the council website at www.dudley.gov.uk/bins
The list of date changes is as follows, with normal collections resuming from Monday 5 January.

Residents are reminded to put their black wheelie bins, black box and blue and green recycling bags out as normal for collections from 6am onwards. There will not be any green bin (garden waste) collections during week commencing 22 and 29 December.
A booking system will continue to operate as usual for the Household Waste Recycling Centre. The site will have normal opening hours apart from 25 and 26 December and 1 January, when it will be closed.
Textek will cease kerbside collections for mattresses and bed bases on Friday 19 December, with collections to resume Monday 5 January.
Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said:
“Residents may find that their waste collection dates will differ over the Christmas and New Year period, and we’re asking people to make sure they check theirs ahead of the holidays.
“As always we are reminding residents to recycle, reuse or donate wherever possible to help to reduce waste over Christmas and New Year.”
