Dudley Council’s Leader Live to return

The leader of Dudley Council will answer questions from residents in a live video session next week Thursday (5 March).

People will be able to put their questions to Councillor Patrick Harley via the council’s Dudley borough Facebook page for the latest Leader Live.

The leader will be joined by deputy leader of the council, Councillor Paul Bradley for the session.

People will be able to put any questions to the pair – from the new waste and recycling service starting in April, to regeneration across the borough including proposals for free parking and proposed ice rink, to potholes and winter gritting.

Designed to give people the chance to raise issues that matter to them, the Leader Live sessions have been running since 2018.

Questions should be posted on the council’s Facebook page @dudleyborough from 6pm on Thursday 5 March, the session runs until 7pm.

Both senior politicians will be answering all questions in a live video, which is then made available to view on the page permanently.

Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of Dudley Council, said:

“We are pleased to be running another Leader Live session next week, and we know our residents will be ready with their questions.

“The sessions are a useful way for us to find out what matters most to people in Dudley borough, and for us to share some of the important things we are working on.

“It’s very easy – simply add your questions to the Facebook page, and we will do our best to answer you.”
