Easter fun at libraries

Parents can keep youngsters busy this Easter with a host of free activities at Dudley borough libraries.

Brierley Hill will be hosting Lego club, board game sessions, salt dough crafts, games day and spring themed Rattle & Rhyme.

Coseley Library is hosting a magic show, glitter tattoo session, children’s booksale and Lego club.

Cradley has Lego club, Easter badge making, board games, egg crafting, and Easter crafts.

Dudley Library has two code club sessions including Lego Spike on 25 March and 5 April (these must be booked in advance) and easter crafts,

Gornal will celebrating with Easter crafts, Lego Club, Lego Spike, glitter tattoos and storytime.

Halesowen has Rattle & Rhyme, Easter crafts as well as a children’s film screening on 2 April. Booking required for Rattle & Rhyme and the film.

Kingswinford has a whole host of Easter crafts as well as Lego club and an Easter trail.

Over at Long Lane there's a Rattle & Rhyme (booking required) sessions, party games and bunny and duckling crafts.

At Lye there will be lots of Easter crafts as well as Lego Spike and Rattle & Rhyme.

Over at Netherton there's are two all day Lego clubs on 25 and 30 March and 3 April, as well as two board games days on 28 March and 5 April and a host of craft sessions throughout.

Sedgley Library has bookable Lego Spike and Sphero Balls sessions, as well as board and lawn games, glitter crafts and biscuit decorating.

Stourbridge Library Shakespeare crafts, games club, K’nex club, lots of Easter crafts and a booksale throughout the two weeks.

Wordsley library has Easter crafts, Lego club, Rattle & Rhyme. Some craft sessions need to be booked in advance.

Stephanie Rhoden, Dudley partnership manager at GLL, said:

“We have tons of fun activities in Dudley borough libraries this Easter with lots of Lego and Lego Spike sessions, stacks of Easter Crafts, board game days and library trails.  Many of our libraries are putting on extra Rattle and Rhyme sessions for parents and tots. All in all we have nearly 200 events and activities across all of our libraries this Easter.
