Parents can keep their children busy this half term, with activities taking place across the borough.

There will be fun live entertainment for all the family at the borough halls. The Three Billy Goats Gruff will see the classic tale given a musical spin at Halesowen’s Cornbow Hall from on Monday February 20. High Jinx will bring the magic, illusion and circus show to Stourbridge Town Hall on Friday February 24. All Star Superslam Wrestling will be at Dudley Town Hall on Saturday February 25. People can call 01384 812812 or visit www.boroughhalls.co.uk to find out more.

On Saturday 18 February Sticky Saturdays will offer free craft activities for children aged two and over. The activities will be held at Dudley Museum at the Archives from 10am to noon and at The Red House Glass Cone from 1.30 to 3.30pm. The events do not need to be prebooked and free trails will also be available.

Duncan Edwards, Crystal and Halesowen leisure centres and The Dell Stadium have plenty of activities to entertain the kids, including free-swimming, £1 football sessions, and brand-new soft play areas.

All Dudley borough residents aged 16 and under can enjoy free-swimming at Crystal Leisure Centre in Stourbridge, Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre in Dudley and Halesowen Leisure Centre from Saturday 18 February to Sunday 26 February inclusive. People who have not previously registered for free swimming must do so at www.freeswimindudley.co.uk, where they can also read the terms and conditions. Numbers are limited and entry will be on a first come first served basis.
