Free bhangra fitness classes for new mums
Mums will be able to break out their best moves at new bhangra fitness classes on offer in Dudley borough.
The free sessions at Quinton Methodist Church in Halesowen and Lye Community Centre are designed for mothers with children aged 0-2 to get active and meet other mums.
An on-site creche with qualified and fully DBS vetted childcare staff will be available to look after the little ones during the classes.
Instructors will teach the basics of this fun and energetic dance over 12 weekly sessions, with extra content available online.
Councillor Nicolas Barlow, cabinet member for health and adult social care, said:
We know that keeping active makes a big difference for our mental and physical health.
These lively classes give new mothers a great chance to keep fit and meet people while their babies are cared for in a safe environment.
The hour-long classes begin on Monday 28 February at 1.30pm in Halesowen, while the sessions in Lye will start on Friday 4 March at 1pm.
Spaces are limited and booking via Eventbrite is essential.
