Give blood at Stourbridge Town Hall
The borough’s town halls may be closed due to the coronavirus pandemic – but critical blood donations sessions are still continuing at Stourbridge Town Hall.
Sessions are due to take place on May 20, June 24, July 8, August 6, October 6 and December 3. They will run from 1pm to 3.10pm, and again from 4.30pm to 6.20pm on those dates.
Attendance is by appointment only, with no walk-in appointments available.
Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:
“Travelling to give blood is considered an essential journey by the government, and we need to make sure we keep our blood stocks up even during these unprecedented times to help the most vulnerable.
“The venue will be thoroughly cleaned before and after the sessions.
“We will be practising social distancing as per government guidance, as well as using screening booths and ensuring regular hand washing and sanitising.”
