Himley Fireworks goes off with a bang
Thousands turned out to enjoy the spectacular Himley Fireworks last night.
The Dudley Council event, organised in association with SWG Group, saw a spectacular 30-minute fireworks display choreographed to music, with this year’s sold-out event celebrating music through the decades.
The biggest local authority led fireworks show in the UK, visitors enjoyed live entertainment, a giant funfair, a night market and food and beverage stalls.
Damian Corfield, cabinet member responsible for Himley Hall, said:
“Himley Fireworks is the best pyrotechnics show in the region, and this year was no exception.
“We’re incredibly grateful to our sponsors and partners SWG Group, who helped to us to deliver a safe, vibrant and unforgettable fireworks celebration.”
The event was also sponsored by Jewson Partnership Solutions, Halesowen College, K2 Services and Fun City, which is part of Your Freedom Empire.
