Last chance to get early bird boxing tickets
Discounted early bird tickets for The Big Showdown boxing battle are on sale for one week only.
In a charity clash to raise cash for the Mayor’s charities, Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of Dudley Council, will step into the ring with former councillor Shaz Saleem on 21 August at Dudley Town Hall.
An early bird discount is available next week only. Standard balcony seats are being offered at £25, increasing to £35 from Monday 25 May.
This pugilistic pair will be going toe to toe over eight one minute rounds, topping a full fight card featuring talented local boxers. With eight bouts to enjoy, the night promises to be a real crowd pleaser and a knockout evening of entertainment.
They’ll be battering each other with the best intentions, hoping to land not just blows but a fundraising total of £30,000 in support of these worthy causes.
VIP ticket holders will get the ringside treatment, including food and access to the after show party at nearby Fun City.
Local businesses and individuals feeling ready to get into the fundraising ring can take up sponsorship packages ranging from £500 to £5,000. SR Construction, Brindley Capital and GMB Union are already in the sponsor corner, backing the event with champion spirit.
