Last few days to secure tickets for Mayor’s Ball

People only have a few more days to snap up tickets for this year’s Mayor’s Ball and Civic Awards.

The prestigious event will be held at The Copthorne Hotel, Merry Hill on Friday 17 April.

Tickets are on sale until Wednesday 1 April and can be bought at www.mayorofdudley.org.uk/balltickets.

The evening, hosted by the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Pete Lee, will include a delicious dinner, live entertainment and DJ. Funds raised from the event and on the night will go to the first citizen’s chosen charities – Alzheimer’s Society, Disability in Action Dudley, Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Gurkha Welfare Trust and The Leukaemia Unit Appeal Fund who support the Georgina Unit at Russell's Hall Hospital.

Entertainment during the evening will include table games, a raffle and an auction. Prizes include two Club Wembley tickets to any match or concert and luxury food hampers.

During the evening, the borough’s unsung heroes will be recognised as the winners of the 23rd annual Mayor’s Civic Awards are announced.

Councillor Pete Lee Mayor of Dudley, said:

“This event offers a fantastic opportunity for people from across our communities and local businesses to come together.

“It’s a chance to celebrate the unsung heroes of our borough—those who quietly go above and beyond to support others.

“We still have a limited number of tickets available, but the sales window closes this Sunday. I’d encourage anyone who wants to join us for a memorable and truly special evening to secure their seats as soon as possible.”

The event will start at 7.20pm with a three-course dinner followed by the awards ceremony and entertainment.
