Last few tickets for night of big band celebrating Sinatra in Dudley

A few tickets are still remaining for a night of big band classics celebrating the music of Frank Sinatra in Dudley tomorrow night. (Thu)

Frank Sinatra – The Retirement Concert is on at Dudley Town Hall from 7.30pm.

It will feature the Syd Lawrence Orchestra alongside Richard Shelton, and feature hits from Ol’ Blue Eyes including My Way, Angel Eyes, That’s Life, Fly Me To The Moon and more.

Rupert Knowlden, venues manager for Dudley Borough Halls, said:

“We are delighted to be welcoming the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, regarded as one of the most enduring and popular big bands of all time in this country.

“We are equally delighted they will be joined by Richard Shelton, who is rightly regarded as one of the world’s best interpreters of Sinatra’s music and sound.

“That combination will deliver an unmissable night celebrating a true musical icon of our time, and I’d urge fans to snap up the few remaining tickets.”

Now based in Los Angeles, Shelton grew up in Wolverhampton and went to college in Birmingham. He also played Dr Adam Forsythe in Emmerdale.
