Leader visits Dudley property investment training experts
The leader of Dudley Council visited a local business to discover how they are training aspiring property investors from across the globe.
Councillor Patrick Harley met the co-founder of Your Freedom Empire, property developer Hayley Andrews, at the firm’s headquarters in Dudley town centre as part of the council’s Made in Dudley borough initiative.
Founded in 2006, Your Freedom Empire delivers accredited training on how to become a successful investor in the property industry to 18 different countries. They regularly deliver training sessions from their base in Dudley at the former Crown Hotel and Mrs Andrews is a frequent guest on Sky TV’s Property Question Time.
The business has gone from strength to strength in recent times, winning a Property Education Provider of the Year award in 2022 and helping developers to invest more than £20 million in Dudley and the Black Country during the last four years.
Mrs Andrews and her co-founder, her husband Paul, are currently working with the local authority to redevelop the historic Dudley Museum and Art Gallery venue, restoring the Grade II listed building’s key period features and creating a hospitality quarter with several attractions.
Councillor Patrick Harley, the leader of Dudley Council, said:
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Hayley and learning more about her business. Your Freedom Empire are using their many years of experience in the property industry to give something back to people at the start of their careers, which is very admirable.
They are immensely proud of their local roots and it was fantastic to hear about their work to highlight Dudley specifically as a place for development to potential investors. This helps to contribute to the continuing regeneration of our borough.
These visits are a great way to showcase the ambition, creativity and drive of businesses in Dudley and I would encourage anyone who is interested in hosting one to get in touch with our business team.
Hayley Andrews, co-founder of Your Freedom Empire, said:
Our reach is global but our heart is most definitely local. Born and bred in the Black Country, we are passionate about our local towns and heritage.
We are delighted to lay down further roots in Dudley town for our training headquarters.
