Glen Callum Associates and the Mayor and Mayoress of Dudley

Mayor meets top recruitment consultants

The Mayor of Dudley recently dropped by the Red House Cone to call in on award-winning recruitment consultants, Glen Callum Associates (GCA).

The team which specialises in recruitment for the automotive industry, was established just under 27 years ago and has had offices at the cone for 12 years.

With a local focus and national impact, the team’s achievements continue to go from strength to strength. They invited the mayor of Dudley to come to their offices and find out what they do.

The automotive aftermarket is worth £21 billion to the UK economy and GCA is the leading recruiter in this space, based at the Red House Glass Cone. The team won Service Supplier of the Year at the IAAF Pride of the Aftermarket Awards, the top trade body in the sector.

The entire team is born and bred in Dudley borough and actively supports local charities with recent donations to West Midlands Air Ambulance and Mary Stevens Hospice.

Kerrie Richards, Director of Glen Callum Associates, said:

“We were delighted to welcome the Mayor to our offices and share the work we do from right here in Stourbridge.

“Our roots are firmly in the borough, and it’s from this base at the Red House Cone that we’ve been able to support the automotive aftermarket on a national scale. It’s a privilege to represent both our community and our industry, and we’re proud of the impact our team continues to make.”

The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Pete Lee, said:

“Most people know that the Red House Cone is a hive for creative industries, but it’s also home to businesses like Glen Callum Associates who appreciate the informal, inspirational settling and use it as a launch pad for their own innovative business.

“It was great to meet the team and to hear of their success. They’re a born and bred bunch,  proud of their Black Country Roots and keen to give back to the community that made them. It was wonderful to see the impact they’re making in the industry and helping to put Dudley borough on the map.”
