A new-look cabinet has been unveiled at Dudley Council to “accelerate” the growth and recovery of the authority.
New names have been added to the executive decision-making group which was announced by the leader of the council at a meeting tonight (Thurs).
The leader also revealed new roles and responsibilities for the cabinet which will be aligned to the new director and other senior roles at the council as part of the sweeping modernisation currently taking place.
Councillor Patrick Harley remains leader of the council with Councillor Paul Bradley, deputy leader.
Councillor Wayne Little has been brought into the cabinet as cabinet member for children and young people, along with Councillor Ed Lawrence who is cabinet member for transformation.

Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of Dudley Council, said the new roles were the “ideal team” to continue to deliver good quality services while “balancing the books”.
Councillor Harley said:
“There are some significant changes in traction at the authority which will firm up our financial position and put us on a steadier path. This new-look cabinet with new roles will accelerate that growth and recovery.
“They are the ideal team to continue delivering the services that people have told us are important to them, while at the same time, balancing the books.”
