Residents invited to attend local meeting

People who live and work in Sedgley are being invited to attend a public meeting about Sedgley Library and Ladies Walk clinic this month.

Taking place at Parish Church of All Saints, Vicar Street, on Thursday 17 July, from 6.30 to 8pm, it will give residents the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the provision of health and library services in Sedgley.

The current lease on the building, used by Dudley Council and its NHS partners, ends in March 2026.

Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said:

“I would encourage anyone who lives in the area and uses the facility to come forward and have their say at this meeting.

“We are continuing to explore all options for the library provision, working with our NHS partners to continue to co-locate services, and we are keen to hear views and feedback from people in the area.”

The meeting is at Parish Church of All Saints, Vicar Street, Sedgley from 6.30 – 8pm.
