Solar Together registration extended
There is still time for Dudley borough residents to join others across the West Midlands by signing up to the Solar Together scheme.
Working in conjunction with Midlands Net Zero Hub, Solar Together is helping homeowners to feel confident they are paying the right price for solar panels and battery storage, by connecting households with qualified and reputable installers. Registration is free and there’s no obligation to proceed with an installation.
Registration for the scheme, which also runs in other parts of the county, has been extended and is now available until 11 July.
It allows households, small businesses and community groups to increase their independence from the national grid, offering potentially lower prices for solar panels and battery storage.
All residents who own their own house, as well as private tenants who have permission from the landlord to install a solar PV system, can find out more online now.
Councillor Ed Lawrence cabinet member responsible for transformation, said:
“The Solar Together scheme gives people the opportunity to get quotes and find out more about solar power and EV with no obligation.
“We have already seen more than 800 residents in Dudley borough sign up and there has now been an extension on registration until 11 July.
“I am sure more of our residents will want to come forward and take advantage of this opportunity.”
