Stourbridge Library book sale

Stourbridge Library is holding a book sale from Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November.

From children’s classics and thrillers to murder mysteries and romances, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at a bargain price. Audiobooks and large print versions are also available.

Stourbridge is one of thirteen Dudley libraries. Operating under the Better brand, they are all run by GLL on behalf of Dudley Council.

“Our collection is being updated all the time which means we’re able to sell off our older stock and use the proceeds to reinvest in new titles,” said Stephanie Rhoden, GLL Partnership Manager.

“Our half term activities will be taking place at the same time so adults can browse whilst their children get creative.”

Councillor James Clinton, cabinet member responsible for libraries, said:

“Our libraries are always getting new stock in to keep up with customer tastes and demands, which means we sometimes need to retire some of our older stock to make way for the new.

“This is the perfect opportunity to snap up a quality book at an excellent price while helping to invest in the library service.”
