Suzan Holder book launch at Wordsley Library

Page-turning author Suzan Holder will be celebrating the launch of her new book What Would Dolly Do? at Wordsley Library on Thursday 17 July at 6.30pm.

Published by One More Chapter, a global division of Harper Collins that specialises in ‘unputdownable fiction’, the novel is described as ‘a sparkling rom-com’.

It’s Suzan’s third book with the publisher, the first two being Shake it Up, Beverley and Rock ‘n Rose.

Suzan started her career as a newspaper journalist before moving into TV and becoming series producer for ITV’s network daytime talk show Loose Women.

Married to former Slade band member Noddy Holder, Suzan’s novels each have a musical twist.

“We’re delighted to be hosting the launch of Suzan’s new book at Wordsley Library,” said librarian Annete Templar.

“Attendance is free, refreshments will be provided, and places must be booked in advance.”

Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for communities, said:

“Suzan launched her last novel at Wordsley library in April 2024 and tickets were snapped up incredibly quickly. We’re really pleased to welcome her back as part of the library service’s ongoing events and activities.”

Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the staff-owned charitable social enterprise that runs Dudley Libraries on behalf of the council.

‘An Evening with Suzan Holder’ will be held at Wordsley Library on 17 July. To book, call 01384 812765 or email wordsley.library@gll.org
