
Take A Chance on ABBA tribute in Dudley
A critically-acclaimed tribute to cult pop band ABBA is coming to Dudley later this month.
Tickets are still available for Thank ABBA For The Music at Dudley Town Hall on Saturday June 21.
It will showcase ABBA’s iconic hits including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Super Trouper, SOS, Waterloo, Take A Chance On Me, Voulez-Vous and many more.
Fancy dress is optional but encouraged.
Rupert Knowlden, venues manager for Dudley Borough Halls, said:
“Grab your platforms and flares for a journey back in time to when ABBA dominated the charts and ruled the airwaves.
“Thank ABBA For The Music is an epic two-hour ABBA-fest that captures all of the magic and excitement of one of pop history's most phenomenal bands.
“Featuring a dynamic cast of outstanding singers, dazzling choreography and interactive video projection, it is a dream show for ABBA lovers.”
June is a musical month across Dudley, Stourbridge and Halesowen town halls. There are tributes to Small Faces tonight (Fri) and Queen tomorrow. (Sat)
There is a tribute to Sting and The Police on Friday 20 June.
And for fans of Ragas & Rhythm, Dudley Town Hall will host The South Indian Music Festival on Saturday 28 June from 3pm.
Football legend Paul Gascoigne will be chatting about his eventful life on and off the pitch to a packed house at Dudley Town Hall on Thursday 12 June.
