Tickets expected to sell out for Himley Fireworks event
People are being urged to secure their tickets for this Saturday’s Himley Fireworks, with the event expected to sell out ahead of the big night.
Sponsored by Custom Technology Solutions Ltd, the 50th anniversary celebration will mark five decades of the special family event with a spectacular 30-minute fireworks display choreographed to a soundtrack of favourite songs.
Tickets are selling fast, with hall access tickets and less 150 premium viewing tickets left. Spaces for the hall’s sensory room spaces are also available.
The largest local authority-run fireworks event in the UK, it attracts thousands of visitors each year and has become a much-loved tradition for families across the Black Country and beyond.
People can enjoy entertainment, including BBC Radio WM presenter Ed James, a Word of Mouth DJ set and live performances. There will be a giant funfair, night market and a wide range of food and drink stalls.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the action on a large 60-square-metre screen, while those looking to make the evening extra special can book tickets for the premium viewing area, which includes a silent disco and bars.
Convenient shuttle buses operated by Diamond and National Express will run from locations across the borough for just £1 each way.
