Website relaunched to keep Dudley borough safe and sound

The partnership’s ‘Safe & Sound’ website has been redesigned to make it easier for people in the borough to access the information they need about staying safe and reporting any issues in their community.

More useful links are available on the popular help hub page of community safety topics, which has been simplified to direct users to relevant information about issues like domestic abuse, hate crime, modern slavery, and violence prevention.

The relaunched website also features a new resource centre for professionals, including links to a range of relevant training courses. Partners are now able to sign up to the site to access these resources quickly and easily.

As a council, we’re proud of the work we do with the local police, NHS and voluntary organisations to keep our community safe and respond to any issues.

Our relaunched community safety website will help residents and professionals to stay informed, report concerns, and work with us to make Dudley borough a safer place.

Safe & Sound is a partnership made up of public sector and voluntary organisations in Dudley borough, including Dudley Council, NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board, HM Prison and Probation Service, West Midlands Fire Service, and West Midlands Police.

The partnership aims to address community concerns around crime, disorder, antisocial behaviour, and substance misuse. It also produces a monthly community safety email bulletin, which can be subscribed to here.
