Wedding Wednesday to mark popular wedding venue’s tenth anniversary
To help celebrate its tenth anniversary, Stourbridge’s Thomas Robinson Building will be hosting a special ‘Wedding Wednesday’ event - where ten lucky couples’ big day will be made available for just £100.
The commemorative event will take place on 10 June 2026, with the heavily discounted ceremonies taking place in the splendour of the building’s exclusive Wollescote Suite.
To register interest couples simply need to email marriage.enquiry@dudley.gov.uk referencing ‘Wedding Wednesday’ from 9am on Thursday (9 April). The ten allocated slots will be secured on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
The picturesque Grade II listed venue is also putting out a call out for people to share any special memories that span the last decade. Anyone who has celebrated a wedding, registered a birth, or attended the building for another significant life moment is encouraged to share photographs on Dudley Registers Office Facebook or Instagram accounts to help mark the anniversary.
Anne Boyd, director for growth and infrastructure, said:
“Wedding Wednesday is a great opportunity to reflect on the many cherished memories the Thomas Robinson Building has played host to over the last decade.
“This June we will see an influx of couples enjoying their special day and I’m certain over the next ten years and beyond they will be joined by many more.
“The success is not just due to the unique and historic building – it’s a testament to all our dedicated Registrars and venue staff, who have played a huge part in us being able to celebrate this fantastic milestone.”
