Cllr Simon Phipps

Welcome back to Sedgley

Sedgley will be hosting Sedgley Spring Fest this Sunday.

The free event runs from 11.30am – 4pm on Sunday March 20 at Vicar Street Gardens and will feature a main stage, live music and a spring market.

There will also be fairground rides, street entertainers, circus workshop and special guests, football mascots Baggie Bird and Wolfie.

The day is part of the Welcome Back campaign to encourage people back into town centres and support local businesses as the country emerges from the pandemic.

Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:

It’s good to see Sedgley getting involved with the Welcome Back campaign with this fun, family friendly community event, with lots for children and families to do.
People can support their local town centre wherever they live, by spending money locally and showing they support local businesses.
