Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise said:
Even with restrictions we’ve managed to open up as many of our facilities as possible so that families can use our centres over the Whitsun break.
But it’s really important that people pre-book and adhere to all the guidelines in order to stay safe and I’d recommend people visit the leisure centre web pages before making their booking. We want people to have fun, get fit but stay safe.
Crystal, Dudley and Halesowen leisure centres will operate normal opening hours on Bank Holiday Monday 31 May. The Dell Stadium and Coseley Leisure Centre will be closed.
From Tuesday 1 June, Crystal Leisure Centre will re-open its squash and table-tennis facilities and Café Crystal will also re-open. Dudley Leisure Centre will re-open for squash. Restrictions apply to activities.
