Winter wellbeing booklets in libraries

Older people who live in Dudley borough and anyone who needs extra help can get advice and support on staying well and safe during the winter with Dudley Council’s winter wellbeing campaign.

The council has produced winter wellbeing booklets, which are available for free from Dudley borough libraries while stocks last. It is also available as a downloaded document from the Dudley Council website.

Topics covered in booklets include health, benefits, staying warm, connecting with others, home security and much more.

Councillor Andrea Goddard, cabinet member responsible for public health and adult social care, said:

“The winter wellbeing campaign provides lots of useful information about staying warm and well during the winter months.

“I would encourage anyone who feels concerned about themselves or a loved one staying well during the winter to take a look at our winter wellbeing website or pick up a booklet from their local library.”
