Young people offered advice after exam results

A team of careers advisors are on hand to support GCSE and A level students who have received their exam results this month.

Dudley Council’s Connexions advisors are available to offer advice and support. They can be contacted on 01384 811400 from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

The advisors will be able to offer students support and advice on their next steps regardless of whether they got the grades they expected.

School and college leavers can also call in their local family hubs, where a range of information and signposting to support services is available.

Councillor David Stanley, cabinet member for children and young people, said:

“I would like to congratulate all our young people who are receiving exam results this summer.

“Dudley is a child friendly council and borough, and we want all children and young people to have the opportunities and support they deserve to thrive.

“There is lots of great support available to young people, whatever their results, aspirations or situation, through our Connexions team.”
